Hodgdon Reloading Datacenter
by Hodgdon
Description
The Hodgdon Reloading Data Center (RDC) is an online reference platform provided by Hodgdon Powder Company, offering manufacturer-tested reloading data across a wide spectrum of cartridges and propellants. Designed to serve both novice and experienced reloaders, the RDC enables users to access pressure-validated starting and maximum load recommendations based on specific combinations of caliber, bullet weight and type, and powders from the Hodgdon, IMR, and Winchester product lines. Because it is web-based, the database can be updated regularly to reflect newly released powders and projectile options, avoiding the limitations of periodically revised print manuals.
Through a searchable interface, users select a cartridge, choose an appropriate bullet and powder, and review the corresponding load information. Entries typically include charge weight ranges, estimated velocities, test barrel lengths, and related technical details. While the data center generally does not differentiate between firearm action types such as bolt-action and semi-automatic platforms, it remains a widely relied-upon source for loads developed and pressure-tested according to Hodgdon’s standards.
Although the RDC focuses on validated load data, reloaders should always follow established safety practices, verify component compatibility, and consult additional authoritative references when refining or modifying load configurations.
